    First off, welcome to Dominion!

    Q. What patch are we currently on?
    A. We are officially on the latest retail patch - 3.3.0a. If you are still on patch 3.2.2a then what are you waiting for? Patch up already! You can patch up automatically by running the WoW launcher or alternatively you can go here and manually patch up instead.

    Q. Account Management - What is it?
    A. The Account Management is a place where you can create, manage and edit your account information. In addition to that, you also have access to tools like the voting manager, guild lists, top arena teams and general server information like uptime/population. You can find the Account Management here.

    Q. I tried to use my forum account to login but it's not working!
    A. Your forum account is completely separate from your in-game account. You need to make your in-game account here.

    Q. How do I connect to the server?
    A. To edit your 'realmlist.wtf' file, open up your World of Warcraft folder -> Data -> enUS (Depending on which client you have this may be different!) -> Right-Click your 'realmlist.wtf' file -> Open and make sure you select a program like NotePad or WordPad. Make sure the following and ONLY the following is in the window...

    set realmlist logon.dominionxtremegaming.com


    There shouldn't be any need to have anything else in your realmlist.wtf except this if you want to connect without any issues.

    Q. I can't use some items or spells...everyone is missing...my game is all weird. Help!
    A. No need to panic. Delete your cache. If you ever play/played retail then you will know that most retail GM's will ask you to do this whenever you run into some sort of problem. Deleting your cache helps clean out corrupt data. After deleting your cache folder, the game will automatically create a brand new one. Although you don't need to delete your cache folder all the time, it's still recommended that you at least delete it once a week to avoid any issues. Also, check for any incompatible AddOns that could be causing errors. Always make sure your AddOns are compatible with the latest patch to minimize any problems.

    Q. I'm ingame...now what? O.o
    A. If you are a regular to the private server world then you will most likely be looking around for a teleporter of some sort. All hope is not lost! Simply check your bags for a DXG Book of Secret's and then click it. With options to teleport you to any location you want, access to character support such as reset spells/reset talents and much more, you will never have to look for a teleporter again! Your own personal teleporter in your bags...what more could you ask for? Looking to gear up? Open up your DXG Book of Secret's -> Vendors and select one of the options available to take you to the mall.

    DXG Connection Guide

    1. Install and patch up WoTLK client in your computer. You can download the trial version of WoTLK here. DXG is currently on game version 3.3.0a and update patches can be found at WoWWiki.

     

    2. Go to DXG Account Management and create your in-game account. After the account is created it may take 5-10 minutes for it to become activated.

     

    3. Edit your realmlist.wtf file. The default location is C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf. Delete everything in the file and type:

    set realmlist logon.dominionxtremegaming.com

     

    4. Connect and enjoy your gaming experience at Dominion Xtreme Gaming!
